Dear Parents,
My name is Tom Pellegrino and I am honored to have been selected as the new superintendent of the Alpine School District. I am currently superintendent of the Cardiff School District, and I am very excited about joining the team in Alpine to continue offering an excellent public school education to the children of the community. I will start working in Alpine in late July and look forward to meeting you and your children as the new school year starts.
In an effort to gain as much knowledge about our schools and our district as possible, I have created ten questions that I hope you will make time to complete. Your answers will inform our team about what you think impacts student learning most and where we can grow. There are five open ended questions, so you will have plenty of space to share your thoughts. Students (4th-8th grade), teachers, staff, the Board of Trustees, and of course parents all have an opportunity to answer these questions. I will read every individual answer, but the true power from such a survey will come in the common themes that will likely emerge.
Thank you in advance for going to Alpine District’s webpage and clicking on the link to the online questions. Please go to our district webpage at www.alpineschooldistrict.net and click on “Take me to the Survey.”
Thank you for being an active part of our schools, and I look forward to meeting you and serving your child.
Warmly,
Tom Pellegrino
Superintendent of Alpine Union School District (Starting July 20)
