- Creekside Early Learning Center - Teacher, Laurie Dotts; Custodian, Earl Wilson
- Joan MacQueen Middle School - Teacher, Bridget Wetton; Clerk, Mary Ann Alvarez
- Shadow Hills School - Teacher, Kathrin Turner; Instructional Aide, Pam Campbell
- Child Nutrition Department – Brenda Scheuneman
After careful consideration of all the candidates, Karen Jensen was named the Alpine Union School District Teacher of the Year and Mary Ann Alvarez was named the AUSD Classified Employee of the Year.
The Alpine schools and community are fortunate to have dedicated, skilled staff represented by all these employees of the year. Our staff is our strength and even during very difficult times, we count on these staff members to carry on the business of educating our youth.
Congratulations to every Employee of the Year. They will be honored at the Board meeting on June 9th at Joan MacQueen Middle School.
